Really impressed with pure gravel prompt shipping. I ordered online and received my tires stem cap and orange seal within a few days. My wife and I have ridin many different gravel tires but once we found the IRC double crosses we stoped trying anything else. These tires do all conditions road chunk and gravel extremely well AND hold up and wear great. We either ride 42 on the front and 42 on the back or sometimes 42 on the front and 38 in the Back can’t go wrong with either combo.

Put these guys on and loaded down the bike for a 2 weeks trip. They have handled the weight in all conditions with no issues!
Got the tires a few weeks ago and have put around 100 miles of dirt and road riding on them. It feels like I've installed suspension on my gravel bike! They float over rocks, rough trails and washboards almost as well as my FS mountain bike does. The grip is amazing and they roll smooth and quiet on pavement. Perfect all round tire for our dryer San Diego conditions...Will see how they do once the rains hit...Guessing they'll be amazing for that too ;)
I put a pair of the 42 mm tires on my gravel bike a year and a half ago and I have ridden this bike in many different parts of the country and the tires perform great everywhere. I live in Arizona and I ride rocky, nasty single track in Phoenix, and I can ride it on the pavement too. The tires have been phenomenal. Pure Gravel is the place to get your tires.
I have ridden my Doublecross tires in Africa, Kansas, Arkansas and Arizona. Every gravel surface is different but these tires gripped in the corners, were fast on the flats and left me feeling secure at all times. I beat the hell out of them and they kept coming back for more.
