UPDATE! Rasputitsa has been rescheduled for July 25, 2020.

Rasputitsa is a Russian language term for two periods of the year when travel on unpaved roads becomes difficult, owing to muddy conditions from rain or thawing snow. That is, it is applied to both the northern spring and northern autumn. The word "rasputitsa" is also used to refer to the condition of roads during both periods.

The Rasputitsa is the only event on our list that actually shrank in size from 2018–2019. They saw a 13% drop in field size. For 2020 they have added a 100k course along with the 70k, and we are pleased to see that as of this writing registrations have already surpassed the 2018 number.
